Benefits

As part of being an Employer of Choice, Questech continually updates the benefits that are offered to employees. Our current benefits include:

Medical
Questech offers two Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) options for medical coverage through Blue Cross / Blue Shield of Vermont. Eligible upon hire date, the company pays for up to 80% of the premiums.

Dental
Questech offers dental coverage through Delta Dental. Eligible upon hire date, the company pays for 50% of the premium.

Life Insurance
The company provides life insurance to employees effective on hire date. The benefit is equal to two times your annualized earnings up to a maximum benefit of $50,000. This benefit is 100% paid for by Questech.

Accidental Insurance
Questech also provides accidental death and dismemberment insurance to employees effective upon hire date. This benefit is 100% paid for by the company.

Disability
Questech provides both Short Term Disability coverage and Long Term Disability coverage for employees, 100% paid for by the Company. Coverage provides for 60% wage replacement for those eligible.

401K Savings
Questech’s 401K Savings plan is a “Safe Harbor” plan with matching contributions equal to 100% of the first 3% of your pay that you contribute as salary deferral plus 50% of the next 2% of pay that you defer. Vesting is 100% after 5 years. The plan also has both loan and hardship withdrawal features.

Time Off
Questech understands that the balance between work and personal life is essential for employees. The company offers a variety of options to assist in this need.

Paid Holidays
The Company offers 8 paid holidays each year to employees.

Vacation Time
Employees start with 2 weeks of paid vacation and vest up to 4 weeks
after 10 years of service. Vacation time can be carried over from year to
year up to a maximum of 200 hours.

Paid Sick Time
Questech offers 24 hours of paid sick time per year for those regular full
time employees who have completed their first three months of
employment with the company. Each year that you are employed with
Questech you will earn an additional 24 hours of paid sick time to a
maximum of 200 hours.

Bereavement / Family Illness Leave
Employees are permitted up to 3 days of paid leave per year to attend to
needs surrounding the death or serious illness of a member of their
immediate family or a very close friend. In certain circumstances an
additional 30 days of unpaid leave may be granted.

Jury Duty
If you are called for jury duty, Questech will compensate up to two weeks
of paid time off, per year based on your date of hire.

Military Leave
If you volunteer for military service or the reserves, you will be
compensated for the difference in pay between your military pay and
a regular day’s pay, limited to 80 hours of leave time per year.

Personal Time Off
Questech recognizes that personal needs and sudden emergencies
occasionally will conflict with employee’s regular work schedule. Examples
include doctor’s appointments, car trouble, appointments for your child’s
well being, etc. The company will try to accommodate such needs by
allowing time off with short-term notice.

Other Benefits

Employee Assistance Plan
Questech offers an employee assistance program at no cost to the
employee to provide guidance and support with work-life balance issues.

Travel Assistance
Whether you are traveling for pleasure or business the emergency
assistance program is there to help when an unexpected emergency
occurs.
