| Timeline: | 1989: sculptor Roger Questel invents Questech Metal, a metal composite that is 20% of the weight (and a small fraction of the cost) of traditional metals. 1991: Questech founded. 1996: Questech introduces its initial line of decorative tiles, protected by Questech lifetime sealer. 2004: Questech introduces Cast Stone, a proprietary composite made with natural stone. Cast Stone tiles look and feel like natural stone but are less expensive and easier to use. 2006: Introduction of Tumbled Marble with Q-Seal™, the only natural stone tiles that are permanently sealed and can be cleaned with any household cleaner. 2008: Introduction of Cast Color decorative tiles. Cast Color is a proprietary composite made with glass; as a result, Cast Color tiles look and feel like glass but are easier to install and care for. |
